Expert Care for Keratoconus & Irregular Corneas

The Expert Care for Keratoconus & Irregular Corneas

Stop Struggling with blurry vision and uncomfortable contacts. Discover advanced scleral lens technology and personalized treatment plans designed to restore your clarity and quality of life.

Is your vision still blurry, even with glasses?

If you have been told you have “irregular astigmatism”or that your corneas are thinning, you know that standard glasses and soft contact lenses often aren’t enough. Many of our patients come to us after years of:

  • Ghosting or “ double vision” around lights.
  • Frequent changes in their lens prescription.
  • Discomfort or “grittiness” from old-fashioned RGP lenses.
  • Being told they are “not a candidate” for LASIK.

Button: Schedule a Keratoconus Consultation.

What is Keratoconus?

Keratoconus is a progressive eye condition where the normally round cornea thins and begins to bulge into a cone-like shape. This irregularity prevents light from focusing correctly on the retina, causing distorted vision.

Why Early Detection Matters

While Keratoconus can be daunting, it is manageable. Our clinic utilized Corneal Topography (mapping the “mountains and valleys” of your eye) to monitor progression and provide treatments that can prevent the need of corneal transplant.

Our Treatment Solutions:

  • 1. Scleral Contact Lenses ( The Gold Standard)

Unlike standard lenses, Scleral lenses vault over the sensitive cornea and rest on the white part of the eye ( the sclera). This creates a perfectly smooth liquid surface that masks irregularities, providing “HD” vision and superior comfort.

  • 2. Corneal Cross- Linking (CXL) Co-Management

We work with the region’s top surgeons to coordinate Cross-linking, a procedure that strengthens the corneal tissue to stop the progression of the disease

  • 3. Custom Hybrid & Piggyback Lenses

For patients who need a specific balance of comfort and clarity, we offer specialized lens designs tailored to your unique corneal map.
